We Wear: That leopard coat again.

Bloggerproblems: going to take outfit pictures on a location nearby and forget your tripod plate. So I had to drive back home, retrieve the damn thing and drive back towards location. Preparations, my dear readers, are important. Luckily this location wasn't all too far from basecamp so I only lost about half an hour. This lake, also known as 't Koet, is a popular swimming location during summertime, although it's a private domain (as you can read on the tree). And people are - of course - stupid enough to leave their garbage behind, make fires and do other unbelievably stupid things so the forbearance of the owner is over. I don't go there anymore as it's mostly as crowded as a regular public swimming pool. Alas! But it did make a pretty new outfit location spot. I also didn't leave any garbaga behind, because why would I.

New item in this outfit: the denim skirt. Classic, you-can-never-go-wrong-combo with the striped top and dark tights. And I really like the yellow tones of my coat and the burgundy vibe of my gloves. It adds to the seventies feel of this skirt. I am on the lookout for a decent pair of brogues though, to go with this skirt. To my surprise, my leopard heeled chelseas didn't match well with it. I don't think this skirt is made for heels. Maybe heeled boots. But I never find boots to my liking.

And well I really really want to wear brogues with glitter socks.

(I don't know if you can see this but I accidentally named my pictures "granola", please ignore that.)

Coat: H&M
Top: H&M

We Wear: Fallsentials, the outfit.

So here it is: my outfit in accordance with my latest Polyvore set. I only replaced the cardigan with my leopard coat for temperature reasons. Seriously, summer is over people! The weather forecast however does speak of an indian summer later this week. As you can see, these pictures are not taken at the Bruis festival as it was forbidden to have a professional camera with you on the festival grounds. Beyond this fact we had a great time listening to Echo and the Bunnymen and eating a typical Dutch and very cinnamonny "syrup waffle".

I'm sorry for my tired expression. I have no idea where it comes from.

I'm wearing:
Coat: H&M
Denim dungarees: H&M
Striped top: H&M
Sneakers: Vans via Zalando
Purse: Kling
Lipstick: It's a matt world by Catrice (fav lipstick everrr)

We Wear: Dancing in the dark, blinded by the lights.

Leopard bomber jacket: NastyGal - T-shirt: Ebay - Skinnies, purse: Asos - Chelsea boots: H&M

The title of this post seems appropriate as I was forced to take my outfit pictures in the dark. I usually take them after work on Monday or Tuesday - for some reason it never works out in weekends - but I clearly didn't take the whole it-gets-dark-at-5-thing in account. It's been a challenge, but I actually like these pictures.

I'm finally showing you the t-shirt I bought for the Blondie concert. It's a reproduction of the one she used to wear, only difference is I am wearing panties underneath. Anyhow, I love it and whenever I want to channel my inner Debbie Harry, I slip into this shirt. I combined it with my new favorite pants from Asos and my good old Chelsea boots. To not be a total predictable nag, I decided to wear my furry leopard bomber jacket to top things of. It's so furry and soft and ideal for these days that start to get colder. I know Karolien was wearing a crop top in her previous post, but times they are a-changing and I can feel hell freezing over.

I think it's because of my job, but I spend a lot more time on online shops than I used to (you know what they say about self-wisdom), and that's how I stumbled upon this cute little cat purse on Asos. I clicked it to my shopping cart together with a dress I might wear for New Year's Eve. Excited yet?

We Wear: Dream coat

As a true Leopardanian, a leopard coat just could not keep missing in my closet. However, I did not want a furry one (got that already) or a short one, and the color needed to be just right. You understand it was not an easy assignment, but I finally came across the perfect one. The impeccable reincarnation of the classical versus edgy combination. Although I must say I wasn't completely convinced about the color when I clicked it home, it has proven to be every inch my dream coat. And that moment when you finally lay your hands on a much searched for coat, just bliss. Also loving my new kicks and so comfortable!

On a completely different note, on this exact moment I'm hitting the awesome sunny slopes in Val Thorens, yihaa! Have a nice week!

Currently craving for (fashion wise or other):

We Wear: Dublin Tourist

I love travelling. Seeing the world, indulging in foreign food, drinks and habits and just wander around with big eyes and soak up everything you see. So that's what I did when I went to Dublin last week. We arrived in the evening and after we dropped our things at the hotel (with a verrrry cute receptionist guy, hot damn) we went for our first Guinness. Of course Guinness, or what did you expect. Pubs in Ireland do tend to close early so we were friendly asked to leave after that very first pint. We crossed the Liffey and explored the city some more, stumbling upon another pub with a lot of people outside. We hesitantly went inside but I immediately felt at ease: a guy with a guitar singing some songs, a lot of loud (and probably drunk) Irish people and glass scattered on the floor. Definitely my kind of scene. We ordered some more Guinness and easily blended in with the crowd.

After a couple of rounds, some light dancing and getting rid of one annoying and very drunk dude - they come with every country -  we decided to hit the sack. The tone was set, the love for Dublin was growing. (Actually that love started immediately at the airport where I discovered a hot iron in the ladies room. I felt like Dublin really understood me - and others with difficult hair.)

I didn't take many outfit pictures I'm sorry, but you'll get the idea. I wore the same kind of outfit during our two day stay. I had my new leather jacket with me but it was too damn cold and windy so I stuck with my precious leopard coat.

Leopard coat, cardigan, shirt, skinnies: H&M - Sneakers: Vans - Sunglasses: ModCloth - Bag, scarf: Zara
Sorry for the I-hung-myself-in-my-scarf-look.

I want these tubes in my house / loft / apartment

Obligatory walking selfie.

Can you guess what's in the bag?

And here's a sneak peek of some new items, curious yet?

Have any of you ever visited Dublin? Did you like it as much as I did?

What We Wear Wednesday: Sleep in the snow

This post is going to give everyone from at least Belgium a massive culture shock, including me. Since it feels like spring has finally arrived and we've had that blissful feeling of sunshine on our faces, an outfit post in a snowy landscape feels weird. Nevertheless, I convinced myself to publish it anyway with two arguments. First, I like the pictures and I hadn't had an opportunity to shoot some pictures in a snowy landscape. Second, we're still in Belgium, so who's to say the weather might not turn around again and in a week we'll be back to layers, layers, layers.

You might remember me searching for the perfect sweater and I'm happy to announce that this search has finally come to an end. I have to say I kind of gave up, because nothing I found was deemed appropriate. That was until I browsed the Romwe website and encountered the tiger sweater I'm wearing here. It has a galaxy print! It has pastel colours! I has leopard! Luckily, I could order it with a major discount. A little hint on the side: always check Google for discounts when you're about to order something. With Romwe, it said on the website there was a 50% discount code, but that code was nowhere to be found on the site. A quick stroll through Google and websites like Solden.be (for Belgian readers) solved that issue quite fast!
These pictures resemble the previous WWWW post from Lies, but unfortunately my coat and I didn't scare a single animal, not even a sheep.
Tonight we're going to see Yellowcard perform (hence the title, which is a great song from their new album). CANNOTWAIT.
Sweater: Romwe - Shorts: old denim cut-off - Booties: Sacha - Leopard coat: Carrefour - Blouse, necklace: H&M
