We Wear: Baseball shirt

I admit it, I'm one of those girls who likes looking at gorgeous girls with great outfits, fabulous make-up, awesome hair, perfect legs, arms, shoulders (one of my latest obsessions - don't ask), and you know, awesome lives in general. And once every blue moon, I get completely obsessed and suffer from a major girl crush. Lately, it has all been about the absolute stunner Samii Ryan: LA resident, model, jewellery designer, blogger and all-round beautiful specimen.

Before (completely) overdoing it with adjectives to describe her, I'll get to the point. Because of stalking her blog and Instagram ferociously, I felt enormously inspired by her style and that is pretty noticeable in today's outfit. I have to admit though that Samii would probably ditch the pants in its entirety. Unfortunately however, I'm in Belgium where the weather is not as it is in LA, to say the least. Also missing is a dreamy backdrop of palm trees, but at least I got the shirt to evoke some LA vibes.

We Wear: Oversized blue

This shirt, you guys, has been one of the best spring buys so far! After seeing several blogsters sport similar striped blouses, I was more than sold. I bought it even more oversized than H&M itself intended it to be, 'cause I love that breezy and free feeling you normally only get from running around in your underwear (TMI, Karolien, TMI). I love wearing this blouse in outfits like this, where it adds a direct nonchalant vibe. But I can also imagine myself wearing it when the city is blistering hot, but you still like a bit of a cover-up in the evening to go with your denim shorts and sandals. Oh summer 2015, I cannot wait!

I have to say I have very little to add, I blame the few holidays we've had this month. I feel totally off and can't even remember the day on some occasions. And that is my cue out!

PS: Sorry for hiding my face under my hat!

We Wear: Blanket blues

Whilst writing this after a long Wednesday, I literally feel the bags under my eyes growing and my body is incessantly craving to answer the call of the couch. Which explains the perhaps weird title choice and actually also the outfit of today's blog post. Yup, comfy and warmly wrapped up does the trick each and every time when feeling a little under the weather. No worries though, it is all my own fault: Depriving yourself from sleep and jumping like a lunatic up and down at a concert is perhaps not the best idea when feeling on the verge of coming down with a cold. But hey, whatever body, my mind is still the master in the end!

I don't often wear outfits like these or at least I didn't use to, but lately I'm drawn to simplicity and warm plain knits, especially in the weekend. And after all, going for a hike in a forest - also something I used to not do - screams comfortable, weather-protective clothes. What do you guys wear on off days when feeling somewhat blue? Dressing up or wrapping up in the most blanket like clothes you can possibly get your hands on?

Knit: Boohoo - Denim: Bershka - Rain boots: Action - Scarf: New Look - Bag: Sister (Hasselt)

PS: Remember last time I was going on and on about Halloween. Well, my costume was a big success. However, I forgot to take actual outfit pictures, but luckily a whole lot of pictures were snapped at the party so I'm sure I can find something decent (let's hope there are pictures of me from that night not drinking, eating or opening my mouth to share some highly interesting thoughts). My point was: Expect a post-Halloween post soon, very soon!
