We Wear: Oui oui

Even though I usually like my outfits with an edge, sometimes I want to let my inner classy girl shine. For that, there is no larger inspiration than pretty street style French girls: They demonstrate that certain je-ne-sais-quoi, which makes way for an easy, minimalist, yet fashionable outfit. Think: stripes, brogues, and a thick camel coat to protect you from the very cold breeze roaming around Belgium. Add to that a hat, and you're good to go!

Also, high waisted everythings are one of the best sartorial discoveries I made in the past year. They are just way more flattering for my figure than regular denims, while creating an outfit a lot more interesting than your average top/denim combination. Especially if you pair it with a simple crop top, that other big love of mine. I can't wait for spring to break them out of my closet on a regular basis again!

PS: The pictures are slightly out of focus, but cold and windy will do that to you.

We Wear: Being nice is cool

Let's spread some love on this nice, sunshiny day, shall we? And what better way to do so than with the always-by-my-side tote bag staple? Exactly. The rest of the outfit entirely consists of items that made an appearance on the blog before, I seem to reach for them time after time again. I guess you could say I'm in desperate need of some new inhabitants of my closet (spoiler alert: I'm doing a great job at prepping for spring and summer). Nevertheless, I think that scarf/blanked might just be my best winter buy.

Coat: my mom's - Jeggings: Pull & Bear - Scarf: Zara - Tartan shirt: Primark - Boots: Doc Martens - Beanie: Choies - Tote bag: Titi + The German Kid

I realized just the other day that I am in fact a true fan of the weather we've been experiencing lately. A slow transition from winter to spring, one day running around bare-ankled hiding my face behind sunglasses, and the other day snuggling up in that cozy knit I cannot seem to part with. Something we Belgians entirely missed last year: In the blink of an eye, we went from snow to heat wave, or at least in my mind.

We Wear: Titi + The German Kid

If you live in Belgium (or maybe even anywhere else), you may have heard already about the Hasselt bred brand Titi + The German Kid. Both Lies as yours truly were instant fan: With sweaters and shirts with cool slogans, unique designs and not-your-typical accessories, what's not to love really. I bought the Titi Forever beanie just recently in the sales, but what I'm really eagerly looking forward to is the SS14 collection release this very weekend. 'Oh my God' and 'Titi likes Ibe' already promise to be two VERY interesting collections by the looks of the previews. And with a blogger as a model and a blogger as extremely inspirational muse, nothing can possibly go wrong. We will definitely go check out the new collection this weekend and hopefully bring some goodies home (and keep you in the loop of course)!

Coat: my mom's - Leggings, jumper: New Yorker - Beanie: Titi + The German Kid - Necklace: Forever 21 - Boots: Doc Martens

On a different note, the pictures make it seem like summer is steadily approaching (sorry, the Titi + The German Kid collection has got me dreaming), but nothing could deviate further from reality. Rain, rain, rain these last few days, but at least my new Docs keep my feet high and dry. It took me a while breaking them in, but now they have me walking on clouds.
