We Wear: Christmas / Birthday / New Year's outfit

I'm wearing:
Glitter body: H&M
Earrings: Christmas ornaments from Kruidvat
Skinnies: Levi's mile high skinny jeans
Glitter heels: Liu-Jo c/o SKM
Socks: Wolford via Veritas

But I have to disappoint you. Three different occasions but one and the same outfit. The only thing that changed were my earrings (because too many options) and shoe-choice (because I can't walk multiple kilometers in heels without breaking my ankles). I'm easily over-excited about things and this H&M glitter body is one of them. The glitter and open back makes this a real eye-catcher and thus the ideal piece of garment for the holidays. Or any other day of you ask me.

Same goes for these heels I got to take home from the SKM blogger event in February. I still can't wrap my head around the fact these beauties are now mine. I can't wear them on a daily basis but I did dance the night away in these during New Year's Eve. My feet were about to kill me by the end of the night, but it was so worth it.

Also I'm never buying jeans other than Levi's again. I can wear these skinnies for a week and they keep their tight fit. They really fit me like a glove. I'm not the one to always buy the big brands but I really don't mind paying a little more for jeans with this incredible fit. Well done, Levi's, I'm planning on stacking up a lot of these. #truelove

I'm wearing Christmas ornaments as earrings because we had to dress up for our Christmas party at work. But I ended up liking these "earrings" so much that I wanted to wear them again. Not completely to the liking of the boyfriend but he can't keep my glitter loving heart from wearing silver glitter hearts in my ears <3

We Wear: Try Out-Fit with a slight shimmer

Looking back at these pictures, I think I better first had (a couple of shots of) coffee to make up for the bags under my eyes. Thank God I threw in some distraction in the form of the very obvious bow tie (digging up Halloween stuff does wonders for your wardrobe) and the coat with a slight shimmer. The coat was one of the treasures I found at SKM when I went to try out their new Try Out-Fit tool - see what I did there. The idea behind the tool is simple yet elegant. When you're short in time, or  not very proficient at putting together an outfit, or you're just really curious, you can use the tool on the SKM website. Just indicate your style, your favorite brands, what exactly you're looking for and of course your clothing sizes, think about a moment you can head down to SKM and make the appointment, all in a few mouse clicks. When you get to the store, you can very quickly try out a few outfits the stylists composed just for you. The result is taking home a gorgeous coat like exhibit A. I have to say I was really curious about whether they would hit my style just right, but I can say it was a perfect match! The complete outfit was made for me, from head to (very gorgeous) shoes.

It was a really fun experience and I'm definitely heading back (soon!) to check out the winter collection at SKM. With the mix of all kinds of brands (Supertrash! Zoe Karssen!), it's impossible not to find anything to wear for the upcoming holidays.

We Wear: Lost without you

You may remember this sweater from one of the previous blog posts when we talked about SKM upping their game and a few months later, it is still one of my go to items. Casually with a pants or more preppy with a skirt and brogues, anything's possible with this beauty by Zoe Karssen! I really want to say I will take it with me on my holiday - which I will be leaving for TOMORROW - but let's get real, Seville with its 33° C begs for crop tops and mini skirts more than for a sweater. Sorry not sorry!

That being said, if you have ANY tips on what to visit, do, eat, hang out or drink in Seville, do share! I will be there for 5 heavenly days, together with my mom and sisters and I am more than looking forward to it. Hell, I even packed my bag already days in advance, which is very out of character for me. Seville, here I come!

We Wear: Fancy farmer Joe in denim dungarees and glitter socks

Vest: c/o SKM // Shirtdress: SheInside // Denim dungarees: H&M // Brogues: Pertini via La Bottega // Glitter socks: Veritas // Necklace: H&M (old) // Purse: Détail

Did anyone say golden hour? Seems like the perfect hour to make some hay! Or you know, drink some wine and eat some pasta for one of your best friends's birthday. Making hay in glitter socks would be very overdressed anyway. The shirt has proven itself multifunctional: it's actually a shirt-dress which I have worn as a dress to an award show (yes that does sound fancy huh) but to make it more work appropriate the next day I added my denim dungarees. Together with my new favorite vest from SKM and my go-with-everything-brogues from La Bottega, I really got the feeling Farmer Joe fancied up his game.

I really don't know why I'm so attracted to blue lately, or maybe it's just coincidence.

Somebody did not want his picture published :D

We like: Our new favorite outfit by SKM

Since the following is about a specific shop in Belgium, the remainder of this post will be in Dutch. Long story short though, we got invited to go and check out a highly renewed and revitalized shop with the mission to compose an outfit right then and there. Conclusion? We loved it!

Karolien:
Blazer: Supertrash c/o SKM / Sweater: Zoe Karssen c/o SKM / Mom jeans: H&M / Sneakers: Boohoo

No regrets. A girl can dream, right.
