We Wear: Boyfriend Jeans

Shirt: borrowed / stolen - Leggings, sneakers: H&M - Headband: Dress-up shop - Bow ring: New Look

I'm still not quite over Groezrock and the whole awesomeness it represents. So when Sofie invited me to a concert where her boyfriend (The Hourglass Instinct) also needed to play, I knew up front it would be the perfect excuse to wear my beloved dress-up shop headband again. Listening to music whilst sipping beer and nodding my head just feels better this way.

I paired my red headband with my red bow ring. I also own this ring in white and I tend to wear that one a lot more often. So time for a change it was.

An oversized shirt in the perfect shade of light blue, some leggings and leopard sneakers later my outfit was ready. I'm in love with these leopurdy Vans-like H&M sneakers by the way! I buy a pair of these sort of sneakers every year at H&M but these are bound to be my favorite pair. How would they not, they're leopurrrdy.

I think there is nothing more soothing than listening to a concert / show whilst sipping beer, enjoying some awesome company, have some laughs and watching people (because there always is people watching involved). But I won't go all mellow on you guys.

Yes, I giggle at my camera as if there is an actual person behind it.

We Wear: '90s Vibes

Ah yes, the weather has gotten to the point where I can finally fully express my inner '90s summer child. Considering it had me dreaming and feeling all bubbly with inspiration already in February, you can imagine that those 'blah-what-should-I-wear-I-hate-my-entire-wardrobe' days have vanished (for now). Also, I've been busier than a mosquito at a nudist colony, so not having to think at all about my outfits in the morning does make getting everywhere in time just that tad easier. Expect a lot more where this came from!

An item I'm pretty sure you'll be getting sick and tired of in the next few months (years?) is this denim jacket right here. I was on the lookout for that perfect oversized acid denim jacket and when I stumbled upon this one, I even took it home with me in a few sizes bigger. Bigger AND bolder. ("Did she really just quote 2 Fabiola?" - Yeah, she sure did. / "What the effing hell is a 2 Fabiola?" - A Belgian '90s Eurodance band, check it).

Well, naturally I had to reminiscence about my youth and put 2 Fabiola on.
Currently craving for (fashion wise or other):
MORECROPTOPS (you'll see soon enough!).

We Wear: Watermelons are pink

Sunglasses: Forever21 - Sweatshirt and ripped skinnies: Bershka - Shoes: Nike Air Max (Footlocker) - Watch: Casio (Urban Outfitters) - Jeans jacket: H&M - Hairtie: Hema Kids

I'm using the name of my previous blog (it really is a coincidence the last post over there is dated EXACTLY two years ago, creepy as fuck!) as a post title and that is possible because I'm wearing the coolest sweatshirt in the history of mankind. I'm a big fan of fruity prints so when Karolien spotted this little gem in Maastricht and decided to try it on, I decided to completely go along with that. And by completely, I mean go along with everything: I tried on the same sweatshirt and 2 types of pants and we both got home with the exact same outfit. So why wasn't I on the lookout for clothes myself you say, instead of feeding on someone else's finds? I was too busy eating an icecream. But seriously, this sweatshirt is pinkish and has pineapples, watermelons and lemons as a print. What is not to love?

These pants are one of the pants Karolien and I bought. It's difficult to find good pants these days like always, and this one has a very nice fit and a perfect shade of blue. Call me smallminded, but I didn't expect that from Bershka! So I was happy as a hippo when I tried these on. Usually I just feel like a hippo in a not so happy way. And the knees are ripped, I feel so badass when wearing these pants.

The sunglasses are rather new too. I bought them a couple of weeks ago in Antwerp because I just can't say no to white sunglasses. Or white anything that is. Karolien was totally right about that in her previous blogpost.

And have I already mentioned how AWESOME Groezrock has been? Because it really has been awesome and I'm back to being Groezsick. I'm still not recovered tiredwise though. These pictures were made the day before Groezrock and boy am I glad! You don't want to see my face right now. All credits again for the lovely Karolien Coenen, who had to do another try on that fashion shoot (although we already loved her previous shoot now didn't we?).

We Wear: Sorry not sorry

A week overdue, but hey, there's a new Peaches & Peaches update. As I've already mentioned, last week, I kind of lost track of the blog (t t t), because a) it was almost Groezrock, ONLY the best festival ever - and yep, after attending for ten years in a row I get to come to that decision, and b) loads and tons of work which come with the perks of finishing a PhD. But let's not dwell on the past, nor make promises along the lines of 'I'll do better'. JUST MOVE ALONG ALREADY. Oh, and also, it was my birthday on Monday, preparations, preparations. I cannot believe I've turned 27. It's as if that happened in the blink of an eye. Yikes.

Blazer: Think Twice (second hand) - Jeans, jelly sandals: New Look - Lace top, purse: Primark - Necklace: Forever 21 - Sunglasses: Vans

This is the outfit I wore Easter Sunday. I didn't put a lot of thought in it, I just got back from my snowboarding holiday and only knew for a fact that I wanted to take my amazing jelly sandals out for a spin. I'm already contemplating getting another pair, they are surprisingly comfortable.

After witnessing Ronnie Radke falling/diving of the stage at Groezrock and laughing my ass off, I had to at least check out his band properly. Thanks for the laugh, Ronnie!
Currently craving for (fashion wise or other):
A good book.
